Zhang Haiying, Chinese painter

Zhang was born in Beijing. He is a painter. His Anti-Vice Campaign series is based on images taken from the internet of women involved in the Chinese government’s crackdown on prostitution and pornography. However, in paintings shown at Art Beijing 2007, Zhang began to move away from the previous socio-political themes present in his work.

He graduated in 1997 from the Fine Arts Department of Shang Dong Academy of Fine Arts

Heiko Klug, German talented graphist

Just do have a look at Jesar One, the excellent portfolio of Heiko Klug. This young artist specialised himself in digital art. In 2008 he started an online project called "RiskShiftLabs", a collaborative portfolio with Kai Isselhorst.

Urban sketchers: another point of view of Singapore

I have recently discovered this blog: Urban Sketchers, which is very beautiful. You'll find drawings of artists of main cities of the world. Singapore is well represented by Tia, who posted almost all drawing pertaining Singapore. Visiting Urban Sketchers you'll see Singapore as you have rarely seen it. Moreover I learnt some historical facts that I did not know about Singapore.
